Chief Financial Officer

John McDonough, Chief Financial Officer, is an experienced finance and accounting professional with over 40 years of experience. Leading our Finance department, John collaborates closely with the executive team to drive our financial initiatives forward. Prior to assuming his current role, John served as Interim Chief Financial Officer, demonstrating his exceptional skills and dedication.

John began his career as a public accountant before moving into finance roles within the healthcare sector. Over the course of his career, John served in a variety of leadership positions, including VP & Controller of Bard Urology, CFO at Datascope, and CFO of the MedSurg Distribution at McKesson. Eventually, John delved into the Private Equity (PE) world and worked for five different PE-backed portfolio companies as CFO over a 12-year period.

In 2020, John founded his own company, JM Financial Consulting, and has worked with four different portfolio companies in the capacity of interim CFO. In between interim CFO roles, John worked with physician owners to help with revenue cycle management issues, identifying acquisition targets, and helping purchase independent practices.

John earned his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Franklin & Marshall College.
