Healogics is proud to announce the launch of the Healogics Telehealth Program. The program is available immediately, providing patients access to continued wound care during Center disruptions related to COVID-19.

Healogics data has shown that patients with a chronic nonhealing wound that go untreated are twenty times more likely to visit an emergency room or be admitted to the hospital.

Across the country, hospitals are becoming overtaxed due to an influx of COVID-19 patients. Our Telehealth Program and protocols provide the option of wound care treatments during Center disruptions to help limit the potential necessity of emergency room care or being admitted to the hospital during this crisis.

Some of our Wound Care Centers are having to adjust to help hospitals with treating their patients. In some cases, this means Centers now have shorter hours. In other cases, this means Centers have to shut down temporarily. Our Teleheath Program allows patients at those Centers to continue to receive wound care. Any Center that has been affected will contact patients before their appointment.

Healogics is actively following the COVID-19 situation closely. We take the health and safety of our patients very seriously. We are monitoring and following the most up-to-date recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

We are committed to treating patients during this pandemic. If you or a loved one is suffering from a chronic wound, visit www.healogics.com/find-wound-care-center/ to find a Wound Care Center near you.
