Keron A. Ferguson, MD, joins the Orlando Health System as Medical Director for Dr. P. Phillips and South Seminole Wound Healing Center®

Orlando, Fla. (December 5, 2014) – Keron A. Ferguson, MD, has joined Healogics, Inc. as Medical Director at both Dr. P. Phillips and South Seminole Wound Healing Centers®.
Dr. Ferguson received her medical degree from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. She completed her Residency and Fellowship at Florida Hospital and is board certified in both Geriatric and Family Medicine.
Chronic wounds affect more than 8 million people in the U.S. and the incidence is rising fueled by an aging population and increasing rates of diseases and conditions such as diabetes, obesity and the late effects of radiation therapy
In joining the Orlando Health Wound Healing Center®, a member of the Healogics™ network, Dr. Ferguson will collaborate with a network of academic medical centers, hospitals and thousands of professionals committed to advancing wound healing by creating, sharing, and activating wound prevention and care expertise.
In both Dr. P. Phillips and South Seminole Centers, Dr. Ferguson will lead a team of wound care specialists, which offers leading-edge treatments including hyperbaric oxygen therapy, negative pressure therapies, bioengineered tissues, and biosynthetics to reintroduce the body's innate ability to heal.
